Greetings, LMR fans! Although I am new to this website (and especially to the whole forum), I have some great news to share. Right now, I’m working on improving the English translation of “Love, Money, Rock’n’Roll”, and this update mostly pertains to the script. Why? Because it doesn’t seem to have a “complete” translation, which means it falls under “fanslation” due to its quality. Once it’s done, I will release a file with all these updated scripts on the Steam forum (currently, I am not registered on Steam).

But fair warning: this translation will NOT include any Japanese honorifics (such as -kun, -san, etc.), and the notes related to them will be omitted. I’m not sure how to handle the other two honorifics (-sensei and -senpai), but I hope to omit them as well. However, information about these honorifics will be introduced in a future game mode called “Glossarium” (which is hopefully a working title, as I can’t find another term for it), and it will be available from the start. In this mode, you’ll also see other terms highlighted in different colors during gameplay (for example: gaijin, yokai, etc.). Once you click (or tap, if you’re playing on mobile) on the word, it will be added to the “Glossarium”.

We also need to note that voice-overs are under consideration for future updates. The only languages I can confirm for voice-overs are English, Russian, and Japanese (the game is currently not translated into Japanese as of January 27, 2025). All dialogues will have voice-overs; narratives are unlikely to have them. This is the real reason why I am making these improvements.

Any updates on my progress will be mentioned on my forum (also on Steam, if you insist). I hope the developers will confirm these future additions someday. If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments!
